There is one reference to "IC-706Pro":

The ML of the Icom () with rumor of the IC706PRO of the US was flowing.
Extremely, rumor (with you say from before, or you circulated story wish)
as, but it probably is to be announced with per Dayton? It seems like the
concept that you adopt the IF DSP for reception with the frame of 706.

(There was, of course, no such announcement at Dayton 2003. Icom unveiled
the IC-7800, as we know.)
