As to price, it depends on how you look at it.. That would be getting close
to $50 Canadian.. a lot of cash for 2 connectors and a short piece of
wire.. The RJ-45 costs me around 15 cents, $5 - $6 for the round connector
and even at a $1 for the wire.. That's very expensive to me.. I guess it
would depend on what your time is worth. I have more time than money.  I
choose to work less and have more time to play with my radio.. 

Thanks again for confirming with I was seeing comparing the mic pin outs on
my IC-746 and IC-703 rigs.. time to get the soldering iron hot and the
magnifying glass ready.. I can't see as well as I use to but I'm not going
to let that stop me.. I have the connectors, wire and crimper to make my
own.. Any way there has to be something left that a ham can still
"homebrew".. hi....
