TERRY,
   MESS AROUND WITH THE UP-DOWN BUTTONS AND THE SWITCH ON TOP OF THE MIC.. I 
HAVE ONE JUST LIKE IT... PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE IN THE UP-DOWN BUTTONS 
SOMEWHERE, BUT I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO ISOLATE IT YET...  JIM / W0HFG
