[Icom] Heil HMi or Icom SM-20?

Hi Hans,

In previous years, I have had very good audio reports with the Heil HM-i and
the Icom SM-8 (which uses an electret element similar to that of the SM-20).
However, I am getting the best results thus far with the Heil GoldLine/HC-5.
This is a dynamic mic, which has less output than either the HM-i or the
SM-20. The IC-756Pro II speech amplifier has sufficient gain to accommodate
this; i am sure the IC-7400 will also.

Can you please advise me what is a better choice?:

- Heil HMi
- Icom SM-20

I am a rag chewing operator and use a 756ProII and 7400. Both SSB and FM.

Thanks in advance!
