[Icom] Repair to Icom 775-DSP Ser 02351

I rec'd my unit on 30 Jun PM and used it during the Canada Day Contest
and let me tell you it was certainly a pleasure, To think I put up with
those faults for so long. I was prompted by another 775 user to get it
fixed NOW. So I am satisfied with the FIX,
However I am not really happy with the fact that;
(a) the repair to the solder joint was NOT covered by ICOM. This is
     indeed a manifacturers DEFECT.
(b) replacement of the switch A unit board also an Icom defect.
(c) add mod for display filter in cw mode. This a world wide defect. The
Icom mailing list on the internet will prove this. Thus considering the
775 to be the Cadillac of radios and cost over $5K dollars that I should
be responsible for the fix, I'm sorry.
