[Icom] SM 10

Hi Bill,

The SM-10 is exactly what is printed on it - a Desk Mike with a 4-band
graphic active equalizer and compressor amplifier, which can be used
separately from each other, or together. It has enough drive level available
to adequately drive the older ICOM "high drive" rigs such as the 730, 740,
etc. and certainly enough for the newer "low drive" rigs such as the 745,
751A, etc. and later models. Basically, it will work on any ICOM rig with an
8-pin mike jack. You could even use it on a PROII if desired. It is
definitely NOT a speaker.

The SM- designation follows a long line of ICOM desk microphone products
such as the SM-2, SM-5, SM-6, SM-8, etc. Speakers are designated with the
SP- nomenclature.

BTW, thanks for the quick transactions for the PS-15 and SM-8. You are very
professional in your business dealings and I hope anyone reading this post
will not have any hesitation doing busimess with you, as I would give my
highest recommendation.

Hope the SM-10 info helps.
