[Icom] 756ProII Meter Lamp

Do you have the meter lamp light adjusted for less than maximum?
I have mine set 1 increment below max, and when I turn it on it flashes at 
max brightness momentarily then settles at the adjusted level. Could be that 
it does something like that when you power off.
