Hi Bill,
Previously I'd done some other checking and the only range that gives me
any significant problem is 5.2 thru 5.999mhz. None of the other
frequencies, and I'm all over the spectrum well outside the ham bands
with NAVY MARS, have given me any real problem although there are a few
ranges that don't quite give full output. I'll do the same test 50khz
test with mine on the Bird 43 and 50 ohm load and send them on to Adam.
My other three SS rigs (TS-940S, TS-430S, IC-706MkII) work fine in the
5.2-5.999 range, so it appears to be unique to my/the 756ProII.
My old Collins KWM-2A (with 30S-1/312B-5) works up there as well for
overseas phone patch duty. That's my real MARS workhorse, even after all
these years.
