[Icom] IC-756Pro II popping noise.

I am noticing something that seems strange.  Ever since my ProII was new I
have been annoyed by a popcorn popping noise when NR is on and above about
11 o'clock.  I just discovered today, That if I turn off NR and turn it back
on, noise is gone for about 3-4 mins the gradually comes back. If I recycle
the NR is goes away again.  Any ideas?  this is on CW.
