[Icom] Mic plugs

I have the crimping tool from Radio Shack. At about $30, it is costly.
OTOH, it does the 4 and 6 pin RJ-11 jacks as well, so it was a "TOOL
INVESTMENT" to me, and as such worth it. I have done dozens of RJ-45s with
it, and no reason to be sorry. (except when I get the wires wrong). It is
of good enough quality for me. Dad always said get good tools, and take
care of them. This is no exception. I do not know the wire gage of the mic
wires, but you might take the cord to your local radio shack and see if they
will open a pack of RJ-45s to let you see if the wires will slip in.

It is do-able. The cost is your decision. If you are near El Paso, drop
over and I will give you a RJ-45 and let you borrow the tool.
