A friend of mine with a new 2720 told me a lot about it. He liked it a
lot, especially the flexible programming schemes, but intermod was one of
the weak points. In our local "intermod alley" it heard the usual pagers
like the other poor performers (Kenwood 733 and V7, Icom's 2710). The
addition of a PAR dual-notch filter helped a lot.
