I had the exact same problem with my Kachina 505DSP. The software in the
radio probably got confused as in the Kachina. I suggest removing the power
supply cable off the rear of the radio and then reconnecting the power
supply, that was the cure for the Kachina. It was important to remove the
power supply totally from the radio. Also after you remove the power supply,
leave the rig without the supply for a day or two. It may sound silly, but
this was the fix for the Kachina. I believe your problem is simply that the
software in the PRO2 got confused. I have a PRO2 here and have not seen this
problem but I would use the same procedure if it did happen. By keeping the
supply off the radio allows the rig to accept new boot up procedures, when
you do turn it back on.
I sure hope this helps, I don't think it is a big problem.
