[Icom] SM-20 DESK MIC PROBLEMS-756 PRO

Hi,
It does at least on my SM-6. The wind screen(tiny metal mesh) unscrews off.
Then you can see behind the electret element. There is rubber O ring 
inside which I took off
and discarded. It made the mic. sound better. I am not much of audio 
expert being 99% CW, hi.
