Hi Roland,
Unless the Icom factory service centre in Bellevue, WA is backlogged, I
would suggest sending the radio there.
"Silly" question: Did you disconnect the mic and keyer cords, and verify
that the front panel [TRANSMIT] key is not depressed? Also, is the red TX
LED lit when the radio is "stuck" in transmit mode?

Subject: [Icom] Ic-756ProII Problems
I was operating CW and when I quit transmitting the receiver went into
receive mode and then a few seconds later went into transmit mode. I was
operating barefoot. I disconnected all cables to PC and reset the CPU in the
radio to no avail. Doesn't this always happen on a Saturday. Does anyone
have any ideas? Otherwise less than 1 yr old Pro goes in for warranty work.
Any advice if I should send direct to ICOM in WA or use one of their service
centers in Louisiana.
