Along these lines....Has anyone any idea of where I could find a 20 foot
plus long stainless steel whip? I want one of the ones like the old 5
foot whips that were used for 6 meters (1/4 wave), mounted on a hefty
chrome plated spring on the bumper. I want to mount it on the front
bumper of my 22' motor home and then tie it down at the back while
traveling. Then when I am parked I will release it and feed it from the
ICOM auto tuner.
