[Icom] 706

Hi Gang,

I just set up a brand new IC 706MKIIG in my shop and it replaced my very last piece of Collins S line equipment. Boy, the 706 is one heck of a rig. I am sitting here hearing stations on a dipole that the Collins could not hear on a 4 el beam at 50 feet.

So much for that....  I have a brand new CT 17 level converter sitting here and according to the manual with the 706, it will work with it.

Has anyone done this and controlled the 706 via a PC and if so how did it work and what software did you use?.
