[Icom] Knobalogy

Need to clarify here. I have a lot of interests other than ham radio--on
which I may average 2 hours a month. I am also a pilot, for example, but I
don't attempt repairs or "mods" on the airplanes either. My enjoyment comes
from flying them.

If some enjoy spending endless hours on the technical aspects of Icom radios
or radios generally, why, good for them, especially when they are generous
in passing on their knowledge such as you and Adam. I have several friends
here in Dallas who have "worked them all". So what? With their "top of the
honor roll cert" and $1, you might get a cup of coffee and you will
certainly not impress many outside of the ham ranks. Most think it is about
the geekest hobby around. I'm not sure--another hobby of mine, astronomy,
may have a higher % of truly unusual people in it. :-) Whatever floats your
boat Matt.
