[Icom] PS-125 Mods - zener diode

Was this done leaving the original fan? Is it possible to get a picture of
where to place the diode. there is not schematic in the small manual that
came with my PS-125.

Hi Dave,
another mod which I like better is putting a 6.8 1w zener across Q14,
Q14 is the control transistor for the fan,
this way the fan runs all the time but at a low quiet level, then if things
really get hot Q14 conducts and the fan can still go to
full speed...
btw this idea was wa2rpi's, and has worked well here for about a year...
