I do my best to keep both spam and off-topic posts off the reflector.  I 
don't whine about them, though.  In the case of spam I simply unsubscribe 
the sender.  In the case of off topic posts, I count to three, hold my 
breath and if the thread continues, close it.

People subscribe to this reflector for Icom-related information.  I can't 
control the quality or quantity of that information and have neither the 
wisdom nor patience to try, but the fastest way to dilute the value of this 
reflector is to let it become tolerant of spam and off-topic posts.  For 
those, I try to use my Delete key so you won't have to.
