[Icom] PW-1 Amplifier

Just purchased a PW-1 amp yesterday. I separated the remote controller 
before turning it on first to see if all worked. When I turned it on the 
controller is acting strange. There are two meters and which ever meter has 
the highest reading, the other meter follows it. When the right meter is on 
VD the left meter reads about 60% full scale no matter what is selected. If 
I move the right meter through SWR or ALC, which are zero, the left meter 
follows it and goes to zero.

If I select Temp on the left meter which is about 10-15% full scale, the 
right meter jumps to the same per cent full scale. It's acting like the two 
meters are "OR'd" together and they read the higher of the two.

Have put it on the air, generates a KW and all else works fine.

Anyone seen this behavior?
