[Icom] 706 MKIIG and switching power supply

I recently bought an Alinco DM-330MV for my '706, on the recommendation of a
buddy who also has the same setup. I have had no problems whatsoever with
it. The only suggestions I might make are:

1) Make sure you've got a good grounding system. The computers and monitors
in my shack are just as likely to cause RFI as the Alinco, as they also use
switching supplies. I highly recommend following the station grounding
guidelines in the ARRL Handbook.

2) You've probably already tried tinkering with the Noise Offset
adjustement. I've never messed with mine since it works just fine.

3) Call, or e-mail, Alinco and ask them for suggestions, if you haven't
already done so.

I hope you get your problems resolved. It seems like the concensus of
opinions is that it should work for you too.
