I have an IC-706 and an IC-706IIG. Both operate off of switching power
supplies and I have no noise that I can detect. One supply is a DuraComm
which was modified to be noise free by the owner of the Company who is also
a HAM. The other supply is an Astron SS-25M unmodified. I am very pleased
with both supplies.
