[Icom] Narrow Filter in FM Mode ICOM 706MKIIG

Although I haven't installed any optional filters it appears that I am
able to select a narrow filter while in the FM mode (Menu M3 FIL) with
my 706MKIIG. Is this a standard feature ?

I checked the owners manual ,but the info about it there seems a tad
vague.
