Rise time adjusts the time the signal rises to maximum and the time it
decays to minimum. The shorter milisecond (ms) is for crisp code, the
longer ms is for softer code. Some stations have reported clicks when using
very short rise time.
I can hear the difference by ear (using a different receiver). But I
haven't measured the rise time - but it sounds accurate based on my years of
experience at measuring this in the past.
