[Icom] problem with 2710

i love my 2710... both of them....

just installed my 706 & 2710 in a new car ( VW passat wagon)
and yes the VW has a climate computer controller which spews birdies every 
20 kc thru the hf...

not to digress...  my 2710 "master resets" itself upon power up , not every 
time , but bingo... there goes the memories and  all the settings....maybe 
one out of 12 times,,,,  i am using the remote head cable , and have'nt yet 
put the face on the radio ( kind of hard to see back there). Since it seems 
troi work most of ther tiome , all the functions, i do'nt see how the cable 
could do it ????

anyone had this happen ???
