If you are referring to a battery pack without batteries but just a wire
pigtail, I've made my own. I bought a used battery pack for $5, took the
batteries out and soldered a wire about 3 feet long. Worked great on my
quantum battery for many years.

Don't know about the ones for Icom but I lost a good KW HT due to an
aftermarket cig. lighter charger.
I stick with OEM stuff......

Has anyone on the list had any experience with the battery
eliminators sold by E. H. Yost/batteriesamerica.com for use with
Icom HTs? It would be nice to be able to power my IC-V8 from a
car lighter socket.
Thanks,
