[Icom] Recovering 761 had SARS

Hi Folks,

Well the 761 is still recovering.  As to the tuner problem. I did not
personally verify all the preset board connectors as the mating number was
written on the plug.

Yep, you guessed it, two were reversed.. J2 & J6. J2 is the connector to
the drive motors.

Well at least the -12 VDC is not dropping to 4 volts in xmit now.

The tuner will reduce the swr if I move the var. caps by hand but the
motors still are not turning.

So I will have to find out what burnt up when the connectors were reversed.

I guess one might say that it was a victim of SARS, i.e.., Some Amateur
Reversed Sockets....
