[Icom] IC7800 replaces IC781???

Hi Group,

I spoke to Business Development Unit, Osaka office of ICOM Japan about two
months ago.  There is definitely an IC780 pro (IC7800 or IC785 as you name
it) to become the new flag ship.  Detail specifications and marketing timing
are still awaited.

I also notice that the price of IC756pro2 is now reducing.  The price of my
new IC756pro2 is only about USD 2,000 in Hong Kong.  I would wonder whether
it is a signal of  a new coming rig.  Perhaps, the forthcoming ham fair in
Tokyo in Aug. 2003 will give us some thoughts.
