Hi all
Just got the word that I will have to head out for
some coral reef work to a very remote island with no
power source. Being marine biologists we are used to
roughing it up without power on the islands we visit.
But being a ham I was looking for means to combine
work and my hobby! After a frantic search around, I
managed to locate a Honda gen set that can handle 350
Watts max. I have a power hungry 706MKII that i plan
to take with me. Would anyone know how much power this
little transceiver draws on 20W and 50W and full power
setting. any quick inputs would be greatly appreiated
as I am heading out the day after.
73 and Enjoy your easter holidays
