[Icom] IC-706

I use the older version of the HS706. I am very very
impressed. I use my MKII as a base radio (most of the
time) and use the HS706 during contests. It does play
a big part in the Tx audio quality. The only thing I
am not happy about is the single, small ear piece (I
have big ears!) ;-)

I wear it around my neck and use my Dynamic Sony
headset for all ops.

As someone pointed out it does pick up RF. I had a
quick and easy fix. Bought a $2/- ferrite choke and
wound the cable of the HS706 around it.
