Kinda similar to me & the missus after 41 years.  We have a, If I don't 
ask, she will YELL.  I spend it and she tells me when we are perilously 
close to hiring a bankruptcy atty.

BUT, I am done with buying ham gear.  In the next year or so, I will start 
selling the big stuff (towers, antennae, 706, and a few thousand connectors 
and assorted thingies) so we can get that motor home and head for the 
boonies.  Two-three years of full-timing in a MH and then we park in front 
of the kid's house and say, "We're here!"

Remember .... treat your kids well, they are the ones who decide which 
nursing home you will spend you last days in!
