Hi Folks,

Well, the saga of the ailing 761 continues. I have all the plastic
trimmers and lytics in the VCO section replaced and the receiver is now
working.

The transmitter is still dead however. I checked the audio in sideband and
it shows ALC and IC when modulating. If I unplug J8 on the RF board, it
goes away so I am assuming that the RF board is working. Guess it is time
to start backtracking with a scope. I have changed everything that Icom
has said to except the finals but I still don't think they are bad because
the idle current will adjust properly.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
