That little guy is known weak link. I had to replace it twice on my 765
B4 I installed heavier one even with
clip on heat sink. Sorry I had to mention it the first time. I used a
final power xsistor out of an old CB radio.
It is working fine since.
Now you know it inside out, hi. Working on low voltages, there is no
zapping by HV.
