[Icom] IC 761

Hi Folks,

Well, I am finding out more about the ailing 761. If I follow the proper
procedure in the book for setting the driver and final current, ( in SSB
not RTTY) they adjust properly.

Troubleshooting using a scope reveals there is no RF at J8 on the RF unit
board, thus there is nothing at the PA module.  I think someone had just
turned the bias wide open so some output would show on a meter to sell it.

It would appear that Q14, the broadband amp on the RF unit is open. I am
awaiting a replacement now.  Sure glad I have a dual trace scope..
