I happened to see this page a few months ago:

Go to

The 751A, and other radios of that vintage were apparently powder coated and
not painted, but with careful matching, could be restored to nearly its new
color.

Also, be gentle with the screws, they are VERY soft and can get stripped
easily (both the threads and the heads).

Let us know if you decide to tackle it and how it comes out.
