[Icom] 765 Tracking Sidetone Construction

I just did the PBT and the sidetone tracking mods. I did the newer sidetone
mod which requires only the removal of two parts (a resistor and a
transister). I didn't actually even use a soldering iron for this mod. I
just snipped a leg of the correct resister to take it out of the circuit and
using some small nail trimming scissors, snipped the legs of the transister.
Job done! Works great. Took about 5 minutes including the removal of the
cabinet covers.

Good stuff. Still some one is doing something himself with soldering
iron. I just used a piece of
perf board to wire up the tracking mod. board which is barely a 1-3/4
in. sq.
