What makes you think you would do anything different? Match the tone of
your local oscillator and you will be fine.

Subject:	[Icom] CW Zero Beat

I have a question regarding zero beating another cw station with my
706MARKIIG. With a previous rig all I did was tune until the pitch of the
cw station matched my side tone and I was right on the other station's
frequency. But the manual for my 706 does not give any information on zero
beating another cw signal. Also the side tone is adjustable and this is a
great feature. So to the cw ops, how do you do it?
