Hello Jim,
My IC-2AT has tone installed. It is an add on from communications
specialists. I don't know if they still make it.
The board fits inside and the dip switch that sets the tone is epoxied into
an small hole that you make in the case.
The original hook up used the 5 KHz switch as an off-on. However when we
moved to Colorado (15Khz spacing) I needed that switch. So now tone is
always on. It has always served me well. A great little rig.
