[Icom] 765 Trimmer Caps

Hi Bill,

There may have been one production series with the ceramic trimmers - I
recall that my 765 had them. It is possible that Icom tried to reduce "F
cost" by reverting to those dreadful plastic trimmers as the IC-765 was
approaching end of product life.

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

Adam,

Your information is incorrect, based upon my personal experience. I
bought one of the very last closeout IC-765s (s/n: 55xx) and one of its
PLASTIC trimmers was defective, right out of the sealed carton!
