[Icom] Opinions on IC-821H Sought

Ed, I would expect to pay between $600/800.
Is it a good radio?
Depends on what you want to use it for. It is a very versatile radio for
sure. Good FM performer.
I use mine mainly as the exciter for 1/2 KW on 432 & 1 KW on 144
ssb/cw/FSK441/JT44 terrestrial operations.  Options I added were the 500Hz
CW filters & high stability LO.
Have never tried it on satellite operation..
