[Icom] PS-125 with IC-756Pro2

Hi Dick,

Just learned that Icom dealers are offering a free PS-125 with an IC-746Pro
purchase as well! This offer thus looks like a promotion , rather than a
close-out.

Actually, I do not believe that the IC-785 is intended to replace the Pro2.
According to my sources and gleanings, the 785 will be at the $5K price
point, as compared to under $3K for the 756Pro II and under $2K for the
756Pro. The 785 will be positioned to replace the 781 and 775 series; it is
presumably aimed also at commercial and governmental users of the 781.

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

Do you figure they are starting to push the Pro2 six months before the 785
is due to come out? I wouldn't think they would really be that competitive
with each other. But what do I know?
