[Icom] ANC 4 vs MFJ 1026

I have the MFJ unit and it works just fine, but takes some patience to
adjust. I'd be wary of relying on any of these units to suppress line
noise. My experience is that line noise doesn't necessarily appear as a
point source - it often peaks at regular intervals down the line, creating
several apparent source directions. You'd be able to null one of the
sources at a time, maybe leaving you with substantial noise. With a point
source of noise, such as my large CRT RCA TV set, I can just about null the
noise out entirely. If my neighbors also had RCA TVs, I'd be out of luck!
