Are you referring to the IC 703? Designed to be a
backpack radio / portable radio. Looks exactly like
the big brother (706 series). Not too impressed as it
still draws a lot of current. I personally feel it
does not truely meet the requirements of a portable
radio. I would be happy with something that draws less
current out of my batteries out in the wilderness.
