I went through that check list long before I spent any $$$. My problem
came down to the fuel pump. Also, by "rig" I mean vehicle...not radio.
Just about any fair quality radio should work fine in a 'clean' vehicle.
All the radios I've seen listed so far would have worked OK in a clean
vehicle. I've owned many different radios over the years. Some had a
little better noise blanker than others but they all worked fine in a
clean vehicle. I only get to buy a new vehicle every 10 years or so.
I'm going to pay closer attention to RFI generated by a vehicle before I
buy the next one!!!
