[Icom] IC-T81A "SET" Access Problem

The 5-way "MULTI" button center position, to get to SET mode, is very
difficult 
to use because that center is hard to find.  It usually takes me 5-20
tries, and
other owners seem to have same problem.  Icom Service finds "no problem."
Twice.  Ideas, anyone?  Tnx & 73.   Allan  W6MEO.
