John, thanks for the full Perth information. Much appreciated. I will be
using a Diamond K400C3/8-24 mount for this one. I previously had this 706
mounted in a Chrysler LHS using a High Sierra screwdriver antenna with
excellent results. I sold the radio and antenna when I traded cars, but just
bought them back. The High Sierra is way out of place for the new car and
will be used as a base station vertical. The Perth looks to be the right
tool for this mobile application. Thanks again!
