Yes it is normal... One of the VCO's has to "resettle" each 10kc. There
is a little trick in the logic on SSB and CW... When you spin the dial,
the noise blanker is engaged to blank the clicks... They are there...
You just don't notice them. It's normal for the state of the art at the
time... And the 751A isn't a very good SWL set... Too wide on AM.

Finally got my IC751A.
Cruising the bands, AM, I noticed a "click" every 10 Kc - is this normal
? Can't seem to have it on SSB (glad). Tks in advance, Isaac, 4Z4TL
