[Icom] & filters

I have herd of people re-naming the 500hz CW filter to a SSB filter and
then using it on SSB
I don't remember all the details but as I remember it was to put in the
FL 100 and in the setup list it as the FL 223

I have the 706MKIIG and it might be different?

Hi Isaac,

No, you cannot select a CW filter in SSB mode. You will need to use the
FSK
mode to select the 500 Hz filters.

Cheers for now, 73,

Hi Adam
Thanks again for clarifying this.
I stumbled into another issue - maybe you'd know:
When I do RTTY via AFSK (SSB mode) , can I still (in some way) select a
narrow CW filter for it?
(If not than I must use the radio's FSK I guess).
