Hi Isaac,
The IC-751A comes stock with the FL-80/FL-44A pair (2.3 kHz @ -6 dB) for
SSB. This is perhaps the best SSB filter set Icom ever made. There is one
option slot for a 455 kHz CW filter such as the FL-52A (500 Hz @ -6 dB) or
the FL-53A (250 Hz).
You could replace the FL-44A with an Inrad 109, which has a slightly better
shape factor, or the Inrad 110 (2.1 kHz @ -6 dB) for improved
adjacent-channel rejection.

Subject: [Icom] IC751A & filters
Hello again ,
Regarding an IC751A ,
which filters should I opt for, wanting mainly to be able to handle SSB and
RTTY QRM?
(few local S9+30Db friends, and\or many S9 pileups) ?
Also, I have seen somewhere a discussion about the considerations for
installing
IF-filters at various IF's - can anyone point me there?
Thanks for the education - in advance.
Greetings, de Isaac, 4Z4TL
