[Icom] Buy a 756 Pro?

No such thing as 4 year old PRO.  First Pro's in the US were late
January, 2000.  Have no idea why the EPROM would have needed to be
replaced as have one of the first and it does just fine.  Watch for the
normal things you'd watch for in a used rig.  Test whether you get
proper output on 6m using a dummy load with the antenna tuner engaged.
Other than that, price is the main issue.

Hi all,

I may have an opportunity to purchase a 4 year old 756 Pro. Is there
anything that I should look out for? It has been sent back to Icom to
have the meter light changed and to have the EPROM updated. Any advice?
